About the Taste for Food

I have started this blog for telling you about my thoughts and ideas about food in Denmark, where I live, and in other kitchens I prefer myself. I will also tell you about my travels and other places I have visited. Everything is a bout taste concerning food - either you like the food or you don´t. Food is like art and music difficult to discuss, as you only have your subjective oppinion about this, not an objective oppinion.

I have been busy - sorry

Sorry I have been busy with the first three months of my chef apprentice education. I has been going way to fast for me, and I am very tired at night when I am back in the flat. This is why I havn´t updated my blog lately.

I will be more carefull and be more productive in the future - I promise.

I´m at the moment working on my foodbook and have found some amazing recipes to show you shortly. Can you imagine avocado pasta, strawberry pasta and much more to come.

David Lebovitz - living in Paris

Chez Pim - writing, reporting, and basically anything interesting thereof that comes her way. Her recipes, writings, and photographs have since appeared in the New York Times, Food & Wine Magazine, Bon Appétit magazine. She's also moonlighted as a judge on Iron Chef America.

Cha Xiu Bao - living in Hong Kong

Sticky Rice - Even living in Hanoi finding the best can be elusive. Sure there are tons of places, but which ones are the most delicious? Locations open and close at the drop of a hat, completely change style over a weekend or are carried around constantly moving. If the greatest tastes are in the restaurants or in the pokey alleyway stalls, we want to find out. We're going to give it a go anyway...

London, food and experiences

Restaurants I have visitedPosted by Henrik Pelsen Sun, September 13, 2009 11:14:34
I´m back after a few days in London.
Fantastic city as I remember after have visited the city around 5 times over the past years.
I´m confused about the English food. On one hand you have Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsay, Rick Stein and all the other fantastic chefs and on the other hand all the chefs in the pubs in London. When we ate in London we only got preprepared/reheated food - no enthusiasm, no respect for food, no heart for what they were preparing - how may these chefs have it awfull in their daily work. I will write about the different visits in London and the different restaurants/pubs we visited in separate inputs over the coming days. One excellent dinner was at Masala Zone I will also write about this fantastic chain of restaurants in a separate input.
